THE BIG MEETING

Elektra cried when i walked into the room
She opened her eyes and looked straight at me
she has the darkest eyes
Eros was so relaxed
He held my finger but kept his eyes closed
just stretched up his legs and then crossed them
They have a long way to go but doing well
They will be in NICU for about another 12 weeks

Elektra
Eros how cute is that foot
Elektra crying as i hold her cradled in a nappy
Eros he is long and lanky
Eros totally chilled like his dad ( well usually )
Elektra opening her eyes
Elektra wearing a preemie nappy as she lay in a standard nappy
Eros holding onto my finger
Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers

How precious. If there is one thing you can expect for sure it's this: they GROW! and GROW! and GROW! and GROW! and GROW! and GROW! and GROWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! A year from now you'll be holding 45-50 lbs of mobile, blabbing, and very mischievous prime babies scratching your head wondering what happened to those tiny preemies. Doesn't seem possible I bet you're thinking, but it is. Stay strong, we are all thinking of you and the babies.

I'm so glad that you're with your babies George, they're so beautiful!! As Jon said, in a couple of years, you'll wonder what happened to the tiny premmies as they run around!! My son who is 4 now and was born at 25 weeks, amazes me everyday with the things he says and does LOL
But for now, just hold them as much as the nurses will let you, snuggle them on to your chest for kangaroo cares and they already know how much you love them

I seriously got chills looking at these photos, especially the finger shot. So, so precious. And so, SO happy that you're finally there George!!! The 12 weeks in NICU will speed by and, as Jon has righly pointed out, before you know it they are going to be huge and causing you all sorts of trouble. Enjoy every single minute.

Oh my goodness. It is hard to realize how little they are, but the last photo makes it clear. I'm so happy that you're there with them; sounds like they are doing great and getting wonderful care. Hope everything continues to go well.
